Annabel Lee

愛倫·坡（Edgar Allan Poe，1809年1月19日~1849年10月7日）是19世紀美國文壇上一位偉大的作家，他的作品風格獨特，語言和形式精緻、優美，很難將他的作品歸為某一個流派，但是“唯美”這個詞可以用來形容他所有的作品以及他本人。坡最大的成就在於他的文學思想和理論，他的推理和恐怖小說最廣為人知，而坡最看重的是自己的詩，可惜在當時其中無論哪一樣都沒有獲得應有的評價，被19世紀評論界排斥的坡對自己卻毫無懷疑，他在散文詩《我發現了》中寫道：“我可以花一個世紀來等待讀者……”。
