微软真的很奇怪，Windows中一些显而易见的小缺憾，他们就是不原意改进。比如在资源管理器中，选择“查看→详细信息”时，就可以看到所有文件的大小、类型、修改日期等信息。但在“大小”一列中，独独不能显示出文件夹的大小来。其实有时查看文件夹大小是很重要的，看来只能自己想办法了。
这一目的，我们可以借助免费插件Folder Size轻松实现。安装后重启系统，在资源管理器中打开任意文件夹，选择菜单“查看→详细信息”视图，然后右击“名称”列表栏，取消对原来“大小”项的选择，选中新的“容量大小”，现在文件夹和文件一样都能显示出大小容量
Folder Size除增加了“容量大小”外，还增加了“档案数量”（即文件数）及“档案夹数量”（即文件夹数量）等项目，就看你的需要选择了。
Folder Size for Windows adds a new column to the Details view in Windows Explorer. The new column shows not only the size of files, but also the size of folders. It keeps track of which folders you view, and scans them in the background so you can see complete size of all files within the folder. It’s very useful for cleaning up your disk. Once you get used to having that information available, a directory listing simply looks incomplete without it!

Setting it up
First, make sure you’re running Windows 2000 or XP. Sorry, it doesn’t work in Vista.
Download the installer (regular 32-bit) (XP x64).
Run the downloaded file to start the install wizard. It has boring template text, so just keep clicking Next. Typical and Complete installs do the same thing, Custom lets you change where it gets installed.
Now the Folder Size column is available to Explorer, but Explorer isn’t displaying it yet. Open an Explorer window in Details view.
Right click on the column headers to see a list of columns you can add. Choose Folder Size.
Now we can replace the existing Size column with the new Folder Size column. Right click on the column headers and uncheck the Size column. Drag the Folder Size column header to where Size used to be.
Make this the default view for all folders. Go to Folder Options from the Tools menu. In the View tab, click Apply to All Folders.
